To start Internet Services like broadband/ ILL/WiFi etc. business of in India. so In first step you have to be acquire an Internet Service Provider (ISP) License from DoT.
ISP Licnese you can apply under VNO means Unified License Virtual Network Operator (UL-VNO) without investing more money .
As per DoT UL-VNO License Agreement This License is granted to provide Service(s) as authorized as per the scope defined in relevant chapter(s) of UL-VNO License Agreement, on a non-exclusive basis in the Service Area as applicable. Services can be provided by Licensee on National Level, Telecom Circle/Metro Area Level as specified in Annexure-II. 22 Service Areas (Telecom Circle/Metro Areas) are defined in Annexure-IV. Administration of authorized services shall be at the respective service area level for all purposes.
ISP License /Registration authorisation under Unified License -VNO services divieded into 3 diffrent category :
- Internet Service (ISP Category-A with All India jurisdiction)
- Internet Service (ISP Category-B with jurisdiction in a Service Area)
- Internet Service (ISP Category-C with jurisdiction in a Secondary Switching Area (SSA))
Before starting the apply that VNO ISP License you have to select the correct category for the ISP license in these above three different categories of ISP license under UL-VNO.
